Sometimes when something unexpected happens, the result is quite special. I felt bad when Alana and Steve called to tell me they were stuck in traffic on their way to our engagement shoot. I knew we'd be really limited at our first location, and was hoping we'd still be able to get the images I had envisioned. We were pretty rushed but as it turned out we ended up with some amazing shots of the two of them. I love the way Alana and Steve come through in these images and I was happy to help capture this time and place!

The sneak peek has grown!
Well, I charged and edited, and here are some of my favorites of the day. It was really hard to pick because all of the images were fun, playful and capture what I believe was the true spirit of this family! (From the hour I spent with them, that is!) Thanks Chucks! Let's do it again!

Sneak Peek! The Chuck Family Portraits
Here's a very mini peek at the family portraits I shot yesterday in Davis, Ca. I think this photo demonstrates what a fun and easy going family the Chuck's are, and what a pleasure they were to work with! More to come soon......

Something Pretty
Blogging must really be a full time job for some people! I gave myself the goal to start with two postings a week. I think I can manage that! As my wedding and portrait season picks up, expect to see more and more portraits on my blog. For now, just a couple of pretty pictures to keep me on track.

A 40 minute Power Session!
I ventured out for a quickie senior portrait shoot last weekend. It's amazing what you can do under pressure! Hannah and I had a great time running around and getting to know each other. Looking forward to returning to this location with a little more time!

My First Post on My New Blog
I thought I'd kick off my new blog debut with something hot and spicy! This shoot was SO much fun...
For those of you who have lived in Suburbia- you may agree that it can be a bit mundane from time to time. This Boudoir photo session with the fabulous and gorgeous Dion took place on a weekday afternoon in the burbs. Who knew it could be so exciting?!
