Sara and Diego | Sacramento Wedding Photography 10.22.10

Mix a little rain with a lot of love and what do you get? A really fun set of portraits of Sara and Diego on their wedding day! Sara and Diego were married this weekend at Sun City, Roseville. These images were followed by a simple but very sweet ceremony in a little drizzle. (Which is a good omen on your wedding day!) Sara has an infectious smile and is such a classic beauty. The two of them are a gorgeous couple, and SO much fun to work with. Here are a few of my favorites from our shoot! Enjoy.

Walker Family | Davis Portrait Photography

This Sunday I met with the Walker family to take some photos as a birthday gift for Louise Walker, the family's Matriarch! We also happened to time the shoot the day before the birthday of her husband Larry, and everyone had gathered for a birthday celebration in Davis, Ca. It was a true pleasure working with all of you, Walkers! Enjoy.

Angela and Dan 10.3.10 | Nevada City Wedding Photography

I love shooting weddings. I love meeting new people and documenting some of the most important and cherished days in life for families and friends of a bride and groom. I love memorializing the bond between two people, and exploring new places. I was really excited to photograph the wedding of Dan and Angela this past weekend in my very own hometown, Nevada City, California. I've spent many years strolling these hilly streets with camera in hand, trying to track down meaningful images. I am really proud to have been able to create these images for Angela and Dan on their wedding day.

The wedding day kicked off at the Wedding Gardens at the Northern Queen Hotel, and after a romantic ride to town on a horse drawn carriage, followed a party and reception at The Miner's Foundry downtown. It was truly a family affair with live Polka music played by Angela's Slovanian family, with relatives traveling from near and far to celebrate. Here are just SOME of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!
