Joan and Jim Weding 5.29.10

I had a ten day break before Joan and Jim's wedding this past weekend. It was just enough time to finish up all my editing from the past several weeks and clear the boards for a brand new project! Joan and Jim were married at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Ca. It was absolutely the most perfect Spring day. A warm subtle wind blew through the corridors of the centuries old campus, filling the air with the fragrance of sweet lemon and jasmine. The hills surrounding were soft and green from the weeks of rain prior.

Every wedding and photo shoot is an opportunity for me to learn something new. I had to work with the very firm house rules on photography in the Chapel, and a pretty dark reception space. (Pretty standard things for Photographer's to deal with.) I'm so glad we had the opportunity to take some portraits around campus before the reception! The motorized Trolley Car they rented to transport the wedding party was a pretty fun place to shoot as well!
